Dave and Dee’s Homegrown Mushrooms, located in Sedley, Virginia, is a family-based business privately owned by Dave and Dee Scherr.
We take pride in the quality of our mushrooms and guarantee delivery of a fresh product within hours of harvest. Our mushrooms are Virginia Grown and quality-approved as a “Virginia’s Finest” product by the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
Using all-natural processes, our company grows and harvests three varieties of Oyster Mushrooms: Italian Gray, Yellow, and Chocolate Brown. We also offer dried Oyster Mushrooms for those who like to cook with these versatile delicacies.
In the Spring of 2003, we incorporated as Dave and Dee’s Homegrown Mushrooms and produced our first harvest of Oyster Mushrooms. We cater to health-conscious consumers and market our product to high-end restaurants, grocery stores, and to specialty markets.
